Office workers generate 4 million tons of paper each year. If all were recycled, it would save 68 million trees and untold gallons of precious water.

Wood Recycling

Pallets, especially broken pallets, can be a headache for facilities. If you're in the central Arkansas area, wood recycling is a special service offered through our Balcones Fuel Technology plant in Little Rock. Pallets or lumber scraps can be delivered to our Little Rock facility for recycling via compactors, open tops and trailers. We do not accept green wood, and all wood must be trash free and untreated.

The wood is chopped and any metal is separated. The wood is then sent to pressboard mills to be used in particleboard for construction. Alternatively, some of the wood is used as boiler fuel in manufacturing plants.
